40. Course Croisière Edhec 2008
In its second participation in the Course Croisière EDHEC in Les Sables d'Olonne from april 19th – april 26th, the St.Gallen Sailing Team came in 32nd out of 54 boats. The regatta was sailed on Grand Surprise, a racer-cruise one design class from france. The wind conditions were unsettled, ranging from 1 to 7 Beaufort but the biggest challenge definitely was the surf. Like in the last year, the media’s interest in Europe’s biggest student sporting event was stunning. As one of the few international teams, the St. Gallen Sailing team benefited even more of this fact. Already now, we look forward to our next participation in this wonderful event.
